Five years ago, the British Virgin Islands (BVI) embarked on a journey to develop as an international arbitration centre and since then, much has been accomplished; the jurisdiction enacted arbitration legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model, became a party to the New York Convention and opened a world class Arbitration facility in 2016, ready to do business on an international level, positioning to become the leading arbitration hub in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Attend the second BVI International Arbitration Conference from May 27 – June 2 2017. There is a special ticket rate, please register at www.businessbvi.com/arbitration/registration and use the discount code BVIIA17 to claim a reduced rate of $675 (standard rate $825). This will expire on May 15, so time is limited.

Leading with the theme, Raising Our Gaze: Arbitration the Next Horizon, the conference programme is designed to explore how arbitration is evolving, legislation, rules, and practices are adapting as new realities and centres of excellence emerge. You also have the opportunity to join ancillary events such as CIArb and Young ICCA workshops and a mock arbitration to further develop your skill set and to learn about arbitration practice.

The conference, will feature a speaker ensemble of internationally renowned players in the arbitral world, including Keynote Speaker, The Rt. Hon.
